NOTICE
ON THE ENTRY INTO FORCE OF AN INTERNATIONAL TREATY
Pursuant to Clause 3, Article 47 of the 2005 Law on the Conclusion of, Accession to and Implementation of Treaties, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to announce:
The Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on the Extension of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture, signed in Dhaka on 22 March 2004, signed in Hanoi on 02 November 2012, entered into force from 02 November 2012.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to enclose a copy of the Agreement pursuant to Article 68 of the above-mentioned Law./.

AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OR THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF BANGLADESH ON EXTENSION OF “MEMORADUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE SOCIALIST REPƯBLIC OF VIET NAM AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE’S REUBLIC OF BANGLADESH ON COOPERATION IN THE FIKLD OF AGRICƯLTURE” SIGNED ON 22 MARCH 2004 LN DHAKA
The Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh ;
Mindful of the need to strengthen the existing friendly relations between the two countries through development of cooperation in the fields of agricultural Science and technology, agricultural production, development of hybrid rice seed technology, agro-processing and packaging, joint venture industries for manufacturing of agricultural equipment, agro-based industries, bio-technology, research and agricultural extcnsion Service, human resource development, farm managemcnt, farming system development, agricultural mechanization, agro-based non-farm activities etc;
Considering that the advantages to be derived from mutual cooperation in the fìelds mentioned above shall benefit both countries and contribute in poverty reduction and food security of Viet Nam and Bangladesh;
Have agreed to extend effectivcness of “Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on cooperation in the íìeld of aericulture” up to 21 March, 2014 A.D.
IN WITHESS WHEREOF, the undersigned, being duly authorized by their respective Government, have hereto signed this Agreement of Extension and affixed thereto their seals.
Done and signed at Ha Noi on this 2nd November 2012 in duplicate in the English language, both texts being equally authentic. Each Party will reserve One original copy.
