“A professional association or chamber of commerce has the following basic functions and duties: connecting, bringing together, and sharing information; supporting, confirming, and protecting member enterprises; and, in addition, having the right and responsibility to consult with relevant authorities on policy adjustment and development, and to gather data to serve development strategy.”
To keep pace with development, the Business Society assigns Executive Board members to basic industry groups in order to carry out the duties described above (matters relating to confirming and protecting member enterprises and policy consultation will, in practice, be carried out according to content agreed in meeting minutes).

The benefits of full members will always be given priority.
When a group of enterprises pools its strength through a formal structure (a Joint Venture), the lead member is responsible for reporting to the Executive Board so that it can be understood and agreed upon./.
