The Vietnam Business Society in Bangladesh (VBS) is a social organization that brings together Vietnamese enterprises doing business in Bangladesh, operating in accordance with current laws. It is a non-profit, non-religious organization with no political element.
Its main role is to strengthen the capacity of Vietnamese enterprises in Bangladesh, thereby contributing to the development of economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Vietnam, and serving as a trade bridge between enterprises of the two countries.
VBS is the focal point for information on the policies, laws, and culture of Bangladesh and Vietnam, conveying this information to the Society’s members so that member enterprises’ business activities in Bangladesh can be carried out appropriately and effectively. It serves as the bridge between Vietnamese and Bangladeshi enterprises operating in Bangladesh and the relevant authorities, professional associations, and other organizations of Vietnam and Bangladesh, in order to address the following:
- Operating in line with policies and guidelines, in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh and Vietnam.
- Promoting economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Bangladesh and Vietnam.
- Carrying out trade promotion activities, exploring markets, and supporting member enterprises’ continued growth.
- Representing and advising on the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of member enterprises.
- Working together to resolve issues related to mechanisms and policies, in line with general trends.
- Serving as the focal point for gathering and receiving economic information on the Bangladesh market, and working with member enterprises to build sound, effective, and sustainable development strategies.
- For large-scale contracts and projects in Bangladesh, VBS serves as the focal point that brings enterprises together by industry group to ensure effective implementation and stronger competitiveness.
- Serving as a trusted focal point for supporting and coordinating the resolution of specific issues arising for member enterprises.
With the operating motto “Unite – Connect – Develop Sustainably,” VBS always welcomes Vietnamese enterprises doing business in Bangladesh to join, build, and rally their strength together. VBS will continue to fulfill its role and provide effective support to enterprises and entrepreneurs, so that the Vietnamese business community grows ever stronger, and so that VBS remains a close and trusted friend of the Vietnam-Bangladesh business community.
